Join us in activating sacred community with a night exploring the perrenial wisdom of Neem Karoli Baba through Ram Dass. This event is free and open to any who want to participate. Any donations received will go toward food and materials for the next gathering.
We will settle in to the evening with a pot luck, and flow into watching a video of Ram Dass, Duncan Trussel, and Raghu Markus taking a deep dive into vulnerability, honesty, and what it takes to love the parts of ourselves that hate ourselves.
We'll then move into discussion to unearth the collective wisdom of our community on these topics. The briliance that emerges when we listen to one another closely can be astonishing so we recommend bringing a notebook!
Finally, for those who would like to join, we'll end with Kirtan, a form of devotional music that uses many different names for the divine to bring us deeper in relation to it. Kirtan is Hindu in origin, but can be a vehicle for connecting with the sacred no matter what you call it.
Please come even if you can't bring anything for the potluck. Neem Karoli Baba taught that we must "Feed Everyone" and there will be more than enough for everyone.
